There is more lash content on Instagram and TikTok than anyone could ever consume. Which means simply posting isn't enough — what you post, how you post it, and how consistently you do it all matter. The good news is that lash work is inherently visual, and the content that performs best for lash techs is also the easiest to produce.
The content that converts
- Before-and-afters. These are your highest-converting posts, always. A split image or swipe showing where the client started and ended up tells the whole story in one frame.
- Process content. A 15–30 second Reel showing isolation, placement, or fan-making demonstrates skill visibly. Potential clients find it fascinating — and trust-building.
- Results on real faces. Photos showing lashes worn on a client's closed eyes outperform flat-lay shots for conversion.
- Educational content. Short posts explaining classic vs volume, what to expect at an infill, or why aftercare matters position you as knowledgeable.
Consistency beats perfection
Posting three times a week consistently outperforms posting ten times in one week and going quiet for a month. Pick a rhythm you can actually sustain. Batch your content — after every appointment block, take 10 minutes to photograph the sets you're proud of and save them.
💡 Many lash clients inquire via DM before booking. Respond quickly, be warm and specific, and make it easy to move to a booking. Have your booking link in your bio and mention it in every reply. Every DM is a potential booking — treat it that way.
Hashtags and location
Local discovery still works, particularly on Instagram. Use a mix of broad lash hashtags and specific local ones relevant to your area. Tag your location on every post.
New sets deserve new trays. The more variety in your work, the more content you have to post. Explore our full lash tray range — different curls, diameters, and lengths to keep your sets — and your feed — looking fresh.
🎯 Show real work. Be consistent. Be local. That's the formula — and it works.
