Lash supplies are expensive, and a shelf full of products you barely use is money sitting idle. Most techs over-buy early on — tempted by bundles, sales, and the anxiety of running out — and end up with duplicate products, expired adhesive, and lash trays they never reach for.
Start narrow and learn what you actually use
In your first months, track which products you reach for consistently. Which curls go on almost every client? Which lengths do you barely touch? After 30–40 sets, you'll have a clear picture of your core inventory.
Adhesive: buy little and fresh
Adhesive has a shelf life of 4–6 weeks once opened, and around six months unopened if stored correctly. Buying in bulk to save money is only worthwhile if you'll go through it before it expires. Know your usage rate and buy accordingly.
💡 A practical reorder system: when a tray or product hits a low threshold — the last row of a lash tray, the last 25% of an adhesive bottle — it goes on the order list. Process orders weekly rather than waiting until something runs out.
Lash trays: stock depth, not width
Most sets are built from 5–7 lengths in 1-2 curls. Know your core range and keep it deep enough that you're never scrambling. A practical starter core: C and D curl, 0.12 mm and 0.15 mm, lengths 8–13 mm. Add D curl and fine volume diameters as demand grows.
Audit your shelf quarterly
Every three months, go through your entire supply inventory. What's expired or near expiry? What hasn't moved? What are you consistently running low on? Stop re-buying things that accumulate.
Need to restock the essentials? Our supply bundles are the most cost-effective way to refresh your shelf — core products, right quantities, one order.
📌 Mark the open date on every adhesive bottle the day you open it. Remove the guesswork. If you're at four weeks and the bottle is still half full, order fresh and retire the old one.
